Manager Customer Service/Master Scheduling
This is a Manager Position in Customer Service/Master Scheduling at
Carlyle Stone Mountain in Stone Mountain, GA (just NE of downtown
Atlanta)
Job Responsibilities to include:
- Strategically plan, organize, manage and analyze department operations
to insure financial, customer and employee targets are met.
- Maintain an ongoing, positive, and proactive relationship with all
customers both internal and external.
- Champion company initiatives and implement "Best Practices" throughout
the operation.
- Effectively manage the dynamics of the change process utilizing ACE (Six
Sigma type) tools.
- Create, communicate and measure realistic production requirements to
support the demand plan.
- Analyze and participate in the development of monthly orders forecast
with materials.
- Provide leadership to employees through presence, communication and
modeling appropriate leadership behaviors.
- Coordinate the development of reports and provide to upper management
as required.
- Analyze with Materials and manufacturing management, specific products
to produce based on capacity to improve both flexibility and customer
service.
- Assist in the coordination of start-up and production of new products
with engineering, R&D, manufacturing and purchasing, etc.
- Continue with self development and development of master schedulers
and material planners through training programs and sharing of best
practices and self study.
- Support reduction in production inventory, obsolete materials, and
service/warranty.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of managerial experience within customer service.
- Min. 3 years of master scheduling experience
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems
- Understands BOM structures
- Experience with process mapping, 5S, root cause analysis.
- Strong work ethic and initiative, as well as appropriate sense of
urgency.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management
staff
- Must be aggressive and a self starter
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with Word, Excel and Access
required.
- Product Knowledge desired.
